Clermont Prime & Store Sale – 28/07/2026
The Clermont Prime & Store Sale today saw a mixed quality yarding of 504 head; cattle were sourced from Clermont and surrounding districts. All regular meat works buyers were in attendance however competition remained selective throughout the offering. Heavy steers to process over 500kg were limited in supply, reaching a top of 415.2c/kg to average 398.8c/kg. The cow offering presented today was very mixed in quality with a large offering of store cows making up this section. Heavy cows over 520kg topped at 360.2c/kg to average 349.8c/kg, while cows 450–520kg sold to a top of 338.2c/kg to average 276.5c/kg. Store cows today sat between 270c/kg and 240c/kg. The store yarding saw a good quality offering though, was very limited in supply. Feeder steers today topped at 410c/kg. Weaner steers topped at 524.2c/kg to average 468.8c/kg, while weaner heifers topped at 412.2c/kg to average 378.6c/kg.

Hillview Cattle Co “Hillview” Clermont – Sold Simmental weaner steers making 480c/kg, weighing 275.4kg’s, to a return of $1,322 /head.
