Clermont Prime & Store Sale Market Report – 06/10/2026
The Clermont Prime & Store Sale recorded an increased yarding of 1702 head today, with cattle drawn from Clermont, Aramac and one large consignment from the Northern Territory. The prime section presented a quality offering throughout, while the store yarding was mixed in type and quality. The prime market today seen an increase of 10 to 15 cents across all categories, while the store market was more variable, largely influenced by variation in type, quality and condition.
Heavy bullocks over 600kg, topping at 457.2c/kg to average 454.1c/kg, while trade weight bullocks from 500-600kg topped at 454.2. The cow yarding was well presented, with a good selection of quality heavy cows on offer. Heavy cows over 520kg topped at 378.2c/kg to average 367.5c/kg, while cows 400–520kg sold to a top of 378.2c/kg to average 352.3c/kg. Heavy heifers to process over 400kg sold to a top of 430.2c/kg.
The store section was dominated with a run of heifers from the Northern Territory. Local feeders and weaners attracted healthy competition. Feeder steers 400–500kg were limited in numbers and topped at 491.2c/kg, while steers 300–400kg topped at 488.2c/kg. Weaner steers under 300kg sold to a top of 448.2c/kg to average 418.1c/kg.
Trade-weight heifers 300–400kg were well supported, topping at 442.2c/kg to average 398.1c/kg, while weaner heifers under 300kg topped at 428.2c/kg to average 308.6c/kg.

Khartoum Pastoral Co “Khartoum” Clermont – Sold Santa Cows at 378.2 c/kg, weighing 605.9kg, for a return of $2,291.45.
Alisha Hoch “Lake Huffer” Aramac – Sold Charolay cross feeder steers at 491.2c/kg, weighing 468.2kg, for a return of $2,299.71, also selling Droughtmaster cross heifers at 442.2c/kg, weighing 343.2kg, to a return of $1,516.99.
Robert Church “Logan Downs” Clermont – Sold Simmental steers at 488.2c/kg, weighing 327kg, for a return of $1,600.21.
